Tripwire RPM for RHEL 4 , WBEL 4, CentOS 4.

I don’t know everything about linux, who does ? So if I put one into a production environment I want to know if anything changes.

It took a couple of goes, but I finally managed to build a tripwire rpm for Redhat Enterprise Linux, I’ve been testing it for a couple of weeks, all looks good.

It’s available from my files directory or my repo , if you have any problems let me know :-)

Download Statusbar :Firefox extension

This extension is probably more of a personal thing than actually useful, if you download a lot like me, then the download man ager can get in the way a bit, so this is a good alternative….

Powered by Google!

This post on the writely blog caught my attention, with writely safely integrated into google accounts I thought now was the time to look at embracing the google office. As a gmail user I’ve always beta tested, and used quite alot the google products (calendar , speadsheet , talk , etc), but one of the main frustrations has been that none of this is tied to “me”, so when ever I invite from my calendar or ask someone to review a document I have to explain why I’m using a gmail address.

Metasploit: Metasploit 3.0 Automated Exploitation

It’s a few days old, but I’ve just found this post….

Metasploit: Metasploit 3.0 Automated Exploitation
A recurring theme in my presentations about Metasploit 3.0 is the need for exploit automation

WOW, reading this just shows the dangers of not patching; it’d be nice to try and put some time aside to set up a lab and have a go.

Ahh Pictures are Back !

I’m almost ashamed of how long it’s taken me to get round to writing this post, but stuff is a bit full on at the mo. A couple of weeks ago I cashed in a driving experience voucher my wife brought me for Christmas, yep not only does it take me two weeks to write a post, but it takes me 9 months to book a day out !

Google Bookmarks Button

This is a really cool extension, if you want centrally held bookmarks, but want them private, and don’t need the full google sync functionality then this is for you !
