Seahorse is running in insecure memory.

Seahorse is a cracking GnuPG implementation for Gnome.

Just like GnuPG it also requires secure memory to get the best privacy; I can never remember how to set this up, fortunately there’s an faq on gnupg.org so a quick…

sudo chmod 4755 /usr/bin/seahorse*

and we’re done, no more error messages :)

MediaTomb makes its way into fedora

Looking through the my yum updates for the day I notice that mediatomb is set for an update, is this the version 0.11 with transcoding we’ve all been waiting for? Sadly no, but it is a fedora build for the default repo – YAY :D

Merry X-Mas & a Happy New Year!

Computers can take over your life, so I tried to detox as much as possible over Christmas; of course when my main pressies from Santa include a bluetooth keyboard (for my n800) and a Playstation 3 complete disconnection is impossible – I’d probably break into a cold sweat if I did anyway!

As normal life and routine returns I thought I’d take the time to wish all my visitors and subscribers a happy new year, and I hope your Christmas was as merry as mine.

Back to work, BOOOO! :-)
