Took the family to marwell zoo today and its a really good opportunity to test my gallery2 install, what’s really cool is the WordPress integration I’m running using wpg2.

The integration allow cool stuff like a random image in my sidebar, and insertion of both images and albums, where gallery2 differs its self from the 1st version is the inclusion of other media like video & sound

I just need to import my old blogpics and then I think I might have some fun with this.

Decided to do a quick re-vamp of my blog

I’ve finally finished cleaning up my theme so it meets w3 standards. I’ve also also enabled comments, when my site first went live I decided to disable comments in my theme as there was a lot of blog spam about, but I’ve heard good things about Bad Behavior so I thought I’d give it a go … so you can leave comments if you want (or not) , but to be honest if it’s more effort than it’s worth I’ll disable it again - just being honest

I’m in the process of trying to get working on Fedora Core 4 in the usual chase the dependency scenario you can easily get into I needed to build an wxPython package.

So I’ve used my golden ticket, and am playing with mu.wordpress.org over at linickx.wordpress.com my question is now… is it cool or spam to blog in two places ?

Thinking about it, isn’t that where the invite system falls over ? Well, you’ll only know about wordpress.com if you use wordpress, and since most people use it to blog, they’ve probably already got one.. hum.. not sure.

Actually, I’m still not sure what I’m gonna use wordpress.com for anyway, I work involves travel around so I’m not online enough to continuously post my thoughts, oh well I’m sure I’ll think of something & any-who it’s been fun testing the site
