Driv3r (aka Driver 3)

Have you played Driver 2? If you liked that you're definitely gonna like this !
The graphic's and driving has come across from the original playstation nicely. The introduction of Guns is a blessing & a curse... if you liked grand theft auto etc, then you'll be into the new gun action, but if you're like me and was in it for the driving, then you'll try & get through the gun missions quickley so you can get back in the car !!!
There are some new vehicles, a go-cart [if you can find it ;-)], boat's which are a bit dull & the motocylces are fun, you'll also notice that trucks are more real, if you plough into something in some tanker type thing it won't just look like it was hit by a mini !
Bottom Line:Good Game, you won't regret it.

SSX Tricky

	SSX Tricky was the 1st game I got for the PS2 (because it was cheap @ Play.com and it drove my wife mad !.... It's Trickey to Rap and Rock it's Tricky, It's Tricky ! Lots of Fun, an essential.

Jak & Daxter

***

	An addictive challenge with two loveable charaters. The World introduces a new concept where you don't change levels ! An Excellent game.

What can I say, other an awesome !
The game play is subtly improved with new special powers (which you can use more often than before) and bigger guns ! Jak is cast out of the city into the desert - which is huge - and given some cool buggy's to play with out there, and as the story progresses you get to venture back into the city - which has changed a little due to damage from war.
Jak3 is more addictive than the previous too, and hours of fun.

If you liked any of the films you'll find this better than average, to be honest I never really got into this game :-( . Cleaverly it's brojen into 3 parts, you can play the same story as two different characters, and they have slightly different adventures; the third part is a "command line" Hacking section. By Far the best part of this game is using the FOCUS which is neo's slow motion - lots of fun !

Jak 2

	Jak 2 takes Jak & Daxter to the next level, moving Jak to the future, the introduction of guns and a Hover Board makes this perhaps the best game ever ! (What will Jak 3 Hold ?)

SSX 3

	This game just builds on the brilliantness of the previous one, same thing, same style, but with larger trails to play in ! Also with Network Play you can race people over the web - cracking !

Ratchet & Clank

	Ratchet & Clank is potentially the orriginal platformer for the ps2. The game is funny, unpredicatble and captivating, you'll find it takes up a lot of your time ;-)

Ratchet & Clank 2

****

	Ratchet & Clank 2 picks up the where the 1st left off & doesn't let you down, the guns are bigger the baddies are better, and on the whole Insommniac have made a truely excellent game. If I had to pick wholes the only complaint is that the story line is a little predicatable.

Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly

	I owned the spyro games for the PSOne, but unfortunatley this PS2 version is not by Insomniac games so the gameplay is nowhere near as good as the orriginals, but the graphics are very nice, the water effect they've devolped is very good.
